The Suburbs 10th Anniversary MERCH COLLECTION

I was entrusted with the significant task of designing a capsule collection for the 10th anniversary of Arcade Fire’s Grammy-winning album, The Suburbs. Together with their art director, Renata Morales, we delved into a wealth of raw experimentation, photographs, and lyrics from the original album launch. Our aim was to remind long-time fans of the album's excellence and create merchandise for new fans who weren't able to be at the merch stand a decade ago.

After weeks of examining the wealth of artwork from the original album launch, Renata and I discussed our vision for this collection. We wanted the pieces to feel remixed, with heavy-handed overlays reflecting the layered musicality of The Suburbs. I also designed a custom, varsity-style logo for Arcade Fire, reconstructing the typeface from The Suburbs. It's still one of my favourite t-shirts I've designed.
