Partnering with Travis Barker was an opportunity to root Inkbox more deeply in tattoo culture through someone who has shaped it.
The very personal collection was designed by Barker in collaboration with longtime friend and tattoo artist Chuey Quintanar, the collection reflects his aesthetic while staying grounded in Inkbox’s focus on self-expression. We had an opportunity to visit Travis at his Studio in LA to get exclusive shots for the campiagn launch.
The visual language of this campaign keeps true too. Travis’ iconic tattoos, balancing product with personality in a way that feels considered rather than branded.
As the work expanded into retail, this system was adapted to live in-store and appeal to a different shopper. This invloved a new packaging system, in-store displays, and a new exclusive collection of Tattoo designs, vetted by Travis. Our challenge was to translate the same cultural credibility into environments that demand clarity and accessibility.
The result bridges culture and scale, maintaining the integrity of the collaboration while reaching a broader audience.
